We met on a dating app in August of 2019 and went on our first date at Old School Bar & Restaurant. We both felt an instant spark and were constantly laughing during the date. We made plans to get together the next day and the day after that. Early on in our relationship, we found out that our great grandparents & grandparents were friends back in the day which is something truly special and meaningful to us. After a little more than a year dating, we moved into a house together and added a golden retriever, Waylon, to our family. In December of 2021, Chris proposed while decorating our Christmas Tree & listening to Taylor Swift. On January 21st 2023 we officially became Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Broccoli!

What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

Some of our favorite memories from our wedding day was seeing each other at the altar, watching our families and friends have fun, the cold sparklers and of course dancing!

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

We both wanted a local venue with an old school classy feel and a place that our guests could stay at without having to drive home. Hotel Utica checked all the boxes for us. I’ve always wanted a winter wedding and Chris liked the idea since it was unique and most of our friends & families have never been to a winter wedding.

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Book all of your main vendors first and try to plan aspects of your wedding when you have down time so you don’t save everything till last minute.

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

Everyone we talked to said they regretted not getting a videographer for their wedding so this was a must for us. It’s almost as if you get to relive your wedding!
