Both from the east coast, both know so many of the same people and have the same friends, but never met until we each separately moved out to Denver! Currently live in Denver with our dog Finnley and love doing all of the things Denver has to offer.

How did you meet?

Through friends of friends. Our friends are friends, but yet we never met until they intro’d us. We later found out we were at the same social gatherings on the east coast when we lived in NYC but just never met until Denver. 

What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

The ceremony was amazing. we knew it would be, but didn’t know it would end up feeling as special and intimate as it did. 

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

We love a classic farmhouse style type of look. We’re currently building a house and the look of the wedding was pretty close to how we are building and what we want our home to look like. The venue choice was due to it being outside and on farm/in a field, which is a vibe we wanted, and the location is near Abby’s family who almost all are from Auburn, NY. 

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Get a planner!! Brooke was incredible and brought out random ideas and thoughts into a real concept. Also, do what you want to do, always. Don’t worry about everyone else – they’re all coming for you anyway and the day has to be about you and your partner. 

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

They add an extra element and are the eyes you wish you had! It’s hard to be present in every single moment with so much going on, it’s amazing to have someone be able to give you the view you didn’t have yourself.
