What is your story?
Sarah is a therapist and I (Sean) am a software engineer. We live in Montclair New Jersey. We’ve been together 4 years, Sarah had moved from Brooklyn to Jersey City when we moved in together, and we’ve now both moved to Montclair. We love to travel and have traveled to 7 different countries together. In our free time we like to go to drum and bass shows, do the NYT crossword, look for weird movies at the library, and I like to play music and Sarah likes to sing!
How did the two of you meet?
We met on Hinge in the summer of 2020 when the world momentarily opened up.
What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?
Sean: our first dance. We worked really hard to learn that routine and it paid off
Sarah: Dancing with our friends and watching our niece and nephew have so much fun with the bubble machines on the dance floor.
What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?
We love the Hudson valley in autumn, and we really love the town of Beacon which was close to the venue.
What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?
Don’t fly out the next day for your honeymoon because you’re going to be run down and could get sick
What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?
Photos don’t feel like enough for such a special day

You were a pleasure to work with, you were great at getting everyone to be comfortable in front of the camera
