What is your story?
We met in D.C, grew together in San Francisco and made it official in NYC. We in many ways embody the statement, opposites attract!
How did the two of you meet?
We were set up by two friends, and dated for a year before taking it seriously.
What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?
David’s vows – Rachel
Seeing Rachel walk down the aisle – David
What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?
We wanted our wedding day and weekend to feel like the best parts of camp. Everyone you love in one place, spending time, connecting and having fun. Inns of Aurora and subsequent properties around Aurora allowed us to “take over” the town in such an incredible way. We’ll always remember walking down the Main St and seeing friends, family members all side by side in different homes.
What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?
Prioritize what matters and don’t forget it!
What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?
It’s impossible to remember every moment. We wanted somebody who helped capture our day and helped cement the memories in our minds for years to come.
Anything else you would like to share?
Gavin was a joy to work with!!
