Jon and I were “the” high school sweethearts. We went to all of our proms and school events together, he taught me how to drive a car, I helped him graduate high school (lol). Jon was there for me during all my treatments for my Crohn’s disease. We have done everything together from going to dinner to going on family vacations together.

Gerik and I have been together almost 4 years. In that time, he moved up from Castle Creek to Preble, where we’ve built a wonderful life together. We’ve had 2 beautiful children (Alexander and Colette), and live with our dogs Pierce and Mazie, and cats Lucy & Spice. It’s a full house and we are so lucky to be able to share our lives together. Gerik and I had an instant connection upon meeting in the fall of 2019. We went on to spend almost all of our free time together and got through Covid together. We’ve shared a mutual respect and love for each other and naturally try to make each other happy as often as we can. We spend a lot of time in nature and love to get outside with Letty and the dogs whenever we can. Much of our time has been spent exploring local waterfalls and state parks. I drag him to a beach every few months as well.
In 2021, we welcomed out son Alexander into the world. Our beautiful boy was with us for 4 months. He gave us such an appreciation for life and love and truly was the most incredible baby. When we lost him unexpectedly it broke our hearts. Somehow, with the help of each other and a loving support system we were able to get through much of that grief.
In 2023, we welcome Colette (Letty) into our lives. She has been an absolute joy and has helped heal our hearts in many ways. Our commitment to our family and to our future is what brought us to our wedding day. Anthony and Gabriella met in 2020 and became boyfriend and girlfriend by their second date. They knew pretty early on that this was something different, something special. Anthony quickly became dad to Gabriella’s puppy and has since arguably become the favorite parent. In under a year of dating Anthony asked Gabriella to think about buying a home together the following year, he asked her to marry him on the anniversary of the day they met two years later. They saved up money for years and in 2023 they bought their first home. They continued saving and had their dream wedding in 2024. They share a love for living a slower, quiet life and both enjoy being outside in nature. This is only their beginning; they’ll keep you posted <3.

Ben grew up in Bradford, PA and Holly grew up in Cazenovia, NY. When Holly was in her senior year at St. Bonaventure University, the owner of a marketing agency in Bradford reached out looking for writers to intern. Holly took the gig, and in May of 2018 moved to Bradford full-time to work at the agency after graduating. In July, one of Holly’s bosses (sensing her friendlessness after moving) invited her to a Fourth of July picnic at Allegany State Park with his family and friends. Lo and behold, that boss was Ben’s brother, Josh. We met that fateful day and began to form a friendship.
In the years following, our friendship grew as we made a lot of fun memories together. [It is here we must importantly mention how almost all of these lifelong memories included having Ben’s sister, Heather, by our side. Those priceless years of non-stop fun and trips and traditions are something we wouldn’t trade for the whole world, and we’re so lucky to have Heather in our lives.] We began to swap interests as we spent more time together — Ben’s infectious love of professional wrestling and campy slashers rubbed off on Holly, and Holly taught Ben about the world of great wine and getting beat in Spades.
In late 2020, our connection became irrefutable. When we were in a room together, it was like two magnets. We began dating and building our future. After we moved in together, it was so fun to explore the new interests that arose: We began an annual vegetable garden and learned new recipes to cook with our harvest, we adopted Wilson and nursed him from death’s door to full health, we re-discovered our mutual love of reading and got library cards.
On July 24, 2021 Ben proposed to Holly at 5:00 AM after we jumped into Willow Bay together at sunrise. On that day, we were hosting a seafood boil party for both of our families so that everyone could meet for the first time. We got to bask in the feeling of being newly engaged surrounded by our family and close friends.
On October 14, 2022 we got married and couldn’t be more excited to start our lives together as a little family — us and our two cats, Wilson and Wasabi.
