Ricky and I were together for 8 years before we got married. We both love good food, a good brewery or winery and both have a love for music.

How did the two of you meet?

Ricky and I met while working for the same company. Ricky was a music director and I was a choreographer for a production. We began dating shortly after meeting, moved in together and we have been together ever since!

What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

We were absolutely obsessed with our wedding day. We truly went into the event with minimal stress. We knew that we hired the best people to make our wedding day exactly what we imagined that it could be and we left everything in their hands. Ricky and I danced the entire night, but there was a moment at the end of the reception that we stepped away from the crowd and just looked around. It was amazing to be surrounded by all of our favorite people and we truly were just so thankful for everyone that was there. 

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

We went into the wedding wanting it to be as relaxed as possible. We knew there were a few must haves, good food, a band, and amazing people to help us document the day. We picked the venue first and that really guided us in the rest of our decisions. Everything we chose for our wedding was meant to have a relaxed feel. We wanted everyone to feel like they were at our home. We did not want our wedding to feel formal or that people could not come and be themselves. 

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

I would say to anyone planning a wedding to remember that it is only one day. While it is truly going to be one of the best days of your life, the most important thing is that you and the person you love will be married by the time you go to sleep that night. None of the “extra” things matter. Your wedding day is an amazing opportunity to share this once in a life time day with the closest people in your life. While we were thrilled to get married, we were just so grateful for everyone that chose to be with us.

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

HIRE A VIDEOGRAPHER! This was a must for us. There is nothing like seeing yourself in action on your wedding day. The second we saw Gavin’s videos we knew that we found the right person. You’ll never get this day back, but a video will allow you to revisit the moment at any time. Do anything you can to help you document the day.

We just want to say thank you! Our wedding was truly something out of a dream and every single person there is to thank. There is not a thing we would have changed and if we could relive this day once a year in the exact same way we would.
