What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

Honestly, being able to sit down quietly just the two of us in the chalet during cocktail hour and being able to eat.

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

We wanted a place that typically holds weddings and has an existing large staff. The indoor/outdoor hybrid was also an intentional choice as we were initially planning the wedding in the midst of the unknowns of the pandemic. 

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Everything will come together. Nothing is actually all that serious. If you’re having a good time, it’s likely that your guests will do!

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

“pic or it didn’t happen”… or in this case, video! The wedding day really did fly by as fast as everyone says it would. We wanted someone who would capture our wedding day in a film style the way that Gavin does. Why do it all if you can’t revisit it?
