We each were our what if people in our lives 20 years ago, that came  to be 12 years ago.  Our lives have not been the same since. Daniel and I met 20 years ago at my college when he came to visit his twin brother. He and I exchanged wash’s to stay in contact but he very quickly became my what if guy. As I his what if girl. Years passed with small conversations here and there online until one day when things blossomed into something amazing! A beautiful relationship started to bloom between us with long talks and chats online roam invitation to a fire one night. From that day on we were inseparable. Now here we are 12 years later married!!!

We met on a dating app in August of 2019 and went on our first date at Old School Bar & Restaurant. We both felt an instant spark and were constantly laughing during the date. We made plans to get together the next day and the day after that. Early on in our relationship, we found out that our great grandparents & grandparents were friends back in the day which is something truly special and meaningful to us. After a little more than a year dating, we moved into a house together and added a golden retriever, Waylon, to our family. In December of 2021, Chris proposed while decorating our Christmas Tree & listening to Taylor Swift. On January 21st 2023 we officially became Mr. & Mrs. Christopher Broccoli!

Gerik and I have been together almost 4 years. In that time, he moved up from Castle Creek to Preble, where we’ve built a wonderful life together. We’ve had 2 beautiful children (Alexander and Colette), and live with our dogs Pierce and Mazie, and cats Lucy & Spice. It’s a full house and we are so lucky to be able to share our lives together. Gerik and I had an instant connection upon meeting in the fall of 2019. We went on to spend almost all of our free time together and got through Covid together. We’ve shared a mutual respect and love for each other and naturally try to make each other happy as often as we can. We spend a lot of time in nature and love to get outside with Letty and the dogs whenever we can. Much of our time has been spent exploring local waterfalls and state parks. I drag him to a beach every few months as well. 
In 2021, we welcomed out son Alexander into the world. Our beautiful boy was with us for 4 months. He gave us such an appreciation for life and love and truly was the most incredible baby. When we lost him unexpectedly it broke our hearts. Somehow, with the help of each other and a loving support system we were able to get through much of that grief. 
In 2023, we welcome Colette (Letty) into our lives. She has been an absolute joy and has helped heal our hearts in many ways. Our commitment to our family and to our future is what brought us to our wedding day.  We are looking forward to many more joy filled days as we continue to build memories together.
