What is your story?
We started off as “just friends” after meeting one another freshman year of college but we both agreed that deep down from the moment that we met, we couldn’t quite shake the feeling that we were meant to be more. We spent quite a few years fighting our feelings but slowly things all fell into place. We started “officially” dating the weekend of undergraduate graduation and since then have lived in two different RVs, worked in 6 states traveling the US for work and most recently bought our first home in Cleveland.
How did the two of you meet?
We met through mutual friends freshman year of college.
What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?
Getting to see one another for the first time at the start of the vow renewal. It felt like time stopped and we were the only two people there.
What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, it’s location and your venue choice for your big day?
We wanted to create a day that was authentic to us. Best view barn allowed us to choose our own vendors and it was breathtakingly beautiful but required minimal decor as the venue itself was stunning.
What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?
Take your time planning. Really think through each detail and utilize Pinterest.
What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?
We wanted to be able to relive this day with our future children someday and to capture the joy and love that surrounded us. I would strongly recommend a videographer to any couple looking to get married.
Anything else you would like to share?
Gavin was absolutely incredible. He was so kind, professional and made us feel comfortable throughout our entire day. Everything felt very organic and natural – which is exactly what we wanted out of the day.
