She’s Everything To Me

Sarah & Chris

The Sinclair of Skaneateles | Skaneateles New York Wedding Film

Over the last four and a half years Chris and I have built an amazing life together. We are older so we approached our relationship and commitments differently than most younger couples would. Chris and I are both well established in our careers and by the time we found each other, we had both already completed most major life events.  This is what made things very simple, we are together beacuse we want to be, not out of obligation or need. We actually like each other and want to complete the second part of our lives together.

How did the two of you meet?

We met at a coffee shop in Syracuse. We were standing in a long line together when Chris made a funny comment about the time it was taking for the line move. I laughed and gave him my own quick witted response.  We ended up sitting next to each other and chatting for a bit.  We’ve been best friends since.

What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

I loved doing our fog send off photo/video shoot.  It was really fun to do that with our friends and family. They made it memorable.

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

Keeping it formal so everyone could get dressed up was a big deal.  All my girlfriends and my sisters love buying and wearing fancy dresses, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to throw a fancy party. I love seeing people all decked out.
The venue speaks for itself, classy with some rustic/industrial vibes. Stunning grounds with beautiul backdrops. The first time I visted The Sinclair, I knew this was where I would get married.

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Looking back, our advice would be to do your first look at least 3 hours before your ceremony. We would also suggest holding your ceremony early so you have enough evening time left to enjoy your guests. We held out for a 4:30p ceremony and we both felt we didn’t have enough time with our guests.

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

We wanted to be able to relive our day, not just in still images.  Just do it!

Anything else you would like to share?

Gavin is an absolute pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend him enough. I wish I actually had more time with him at our wedding.

Everything That’s To Come | The Inn at West Settlement | Roxbury New York Wedding Film | Cass & Matt

We met at Ohio State when we were both still in college after being good friends for our second and third years – despite Matt moving to Arizona for work after graduation and Cassandra moving home to Philadelphia for law school, we made it work and eventually Matt joined the Dulas in Pennsylvania. After Cassandra graduated from law school, she had a job offer in London and Matt in his infinite flexibility said, “Let’s do it!” A year after moving we got engaged and two years after that we had our big day!

  • This Great Day | La Tourelle Hotel & Spa | Ithaca New York Wedding Film | Wendy and Aaron

We’ve been together for 3 years. Met in steamboat, lived in Denver, skied together every weekend that first winter together. Moved in together during Covid (& flourished during that time). Proposed back in steamboat. A few months later, Aaron deployed for almost a year and when he came back, we started our next adventure in Virginia.
Every stage feels like a restart to the honeymoon. If we laugh 1/10 of the amount, we will be in a good spot!

Let’s Raise A Glass To The Keenans! | Emerson Park Pavilion | Auburn, New York Wedding Film | Meg and Mike

Early on, we bonded over our shared love of practicing the “spirited” parts of our Irish heritage. On most Wednesdays you can find us at our favorite Irish pub’s weekly trivia night. On question 13 the pub pauses trivia questions to do an Irish toast complete with Irish whisky. Slainte!
We’re both longtime Buffalo Bills fans and enthusiastically cheer them on every game either from our couch or in person at the Ralph – no matter the weather!
We share the mentality that life is too short to take too seriously and will never pass up an opportunity to dress up like idiots.
Like every child in the North Country, Mike practically came out of the womb wearing skates and has been playing hockey since he can remember. Meg crossed off a bucket list item when she signed up for an adult learn-to-play-hockey program in early 2020. Even though we’re at very different skill levels, we enjoy cheering each other on and even playing together every once in awhile!
In case you haven’t noticed – we have a dog! Boomer is 80% cotton ball, 20% Napoleon and 100% our sweet, spoiled boy. He brings joy and laughter to our lives and we love him to pieces.
We both love to travel and each did a fair bit of it before we met each other. We’ve been lucky enough to travel to Hawaii and Banff, Canada together and are headed to Tanzania and Zanzibar next month for our honeymoon!
    The Proposal:
After some hint dropping by Meg (subtlety varies based on who you ask) Mike popped the question on Saturday morning December 18, 2021! Mike had a dog tag made that said “will you marry me”, put it on Boomer’s collar and waited for Meg to notice. When she finally did, Mike produced the most beautiful ring Meg has ever seen. After saying, “is this real?!”, once or twice Meg followed it up with “Yes of course!”

  • It’s Never Been Luck, It’s Always Been You | The Fitz | Syracuse New York Wedding Film | Kahssia + Radelle

Back in 2019, Kahssia was living in New Jersey but driving back to Syracuse every weekend because she was homesick. One weekend, she came home to go to an informal house party at her and Radelle’s mutual friend KJ’s house (KJ was also our super talented wedding photographer by the way).
Little did she know, Radelle was going to be there too. Now … Radelle and Kahssia had interacted a bit on Twitter before but nothing serious. At the kickback Radelle tweeted he wanted diner food and, sitting in the same room, Kahssia replied back his to his tweet agreeing that that did sound good.
At the function, Radelle could see that certain guests in attendance were getting uncomfortably close to Kahssia and he discreetly kept them out of Kahssia’s space for the night. She sub-tweeted him saying that she found the sense of protection attractive and he DM-ed to confirm it was him she was talking about. That day, they exchanged numbers.
Despite them texting very often, they didn’t actually get that diner food until a couple weeks later – when Radelle asked if Kahssia was still up for it and thankfully she was. It was by sheer luck that Radelle made it to the date too. He had just gotten off of work, showered, and had just enough time to grab a dozen roses right before the florist closed.

When Kahssia saw him walk in the diner with roses, she knew this was going to be more than just a friendly bite to eat … and as hard as she tried not to admit it – it was a good feeling. Kahssia and Radelle talked for hours … until the diner closed.
That still wasn’t enough time spent with one another though. They went on a date every day that week and each time they spent hours talking to one another. Between Texas Roadhouse, Tullys, Club 11, bowling, the movies … it was clear they were on the path towards something worthwhile.
These dates spanned across the week of Thanksgiving and eventually Kahssia had to go back to New Jersey for work. After she returned, she and Radelle talked daily – they’d start and end each day with messages to one another.
A little less than a month after they began talking, they made it official by becoming a couple … on December 4th, 2019.
And here they are, married 3 years later … on December 4th, 2022 at the diner where it all started.

  • Meet You at the Altar | Turning Stone Resort and Casino | Vernon New York Wedding Film | Annie and Nick

    It all started in 2015.
A true modern day love story that started with a simple “swipe right” on a well-known dating app.
Nick and Annie were both in college at the time; Nick attending Utica College and Annie attending Le Moyne College in Syracuse. That night, Nick was in Syracuse shopping and stumbled upon Annie’s profile and just like the name of the mall Nick was at, it was “destiny” that their paths crossed.
After a few weeks of getting to know each other, Nick found himself back in Syracuse taking Annie out on their first date. It was an immediate connection; the guy that everyone describes as quiet couldn’t stop talking with Annie. Both knew this was something special, but had no idea just how incredible it would become!
Annie and Nick began a relationship that was built on the foundation of friendship, trust, and true love. Through everything life threw at them, they were by each other’s side. They experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together and continued to grow as individuals and as a couple.
They went on so many adventures where life-long memories were made. From Boston to San Diego, Annie and Nick have truly have been blessed to experience it all. Nick has shared with Annie his love of the Red Sox and Raiders and Annie taught him that no meal is complete without dessert!
After a cross country drive in Annie’s Jeep with their two English Bulldogs, Coco and Chanel, in the backseat, Nick and Annie found themselves in California; first in Santa Barbara and, a year later, in San Diego. It was here that Nick asked Annie’s dad for his blessing, got down on one knee and asked Annie to marry him! Just when they thought they couldn’t love each other anymore, they began preparing for husband and wife and felt their love and bond grow even stronger!
Nick and Annie are soulmates; the ying to the other’s yang. Where one lacks, the other provides. When one is down, the other is lifting them up. They are best friends and look forward to a lifetime full of laughter, happiness, and love!
