You Can’t Find A Love Like This

Hannah & Andrew

Seven Ponds Farm | Summit, New York Wedding Film

After meeting on Hinge, we were both really confident that this was going somewhere from the beginning. We met each others’ parents really early on and moved in together after a year and a half of dating. Everything was always easy and fun. We moved upstate when Hannah got a new job and we’ve been loving it! We continue to find ways to build community, learn new hobbies together, and find joy in everyday moments.

How did you meet?

We met on Hinge! She loved my smile and dog Duke and I loved how many times she referenced the Times Square Olive Garden. Our conversation started as conversations often do, with us planning how best to sneak Andrew’s dog into Olive Garden. We landed on a trench coat but decided instead to meet at Fort Greene Park in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Duke was there but did not wear a trench coat as it was unseasonably warm.

What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

The ceremony! After a morning of rain, the sun came out and the weather was perfect. We decided to write our own vows and hearing what each other had to say for the first time was so special!

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

We wanted it to feel like a celebration of not just our love but all of our guests’ as well! So having a venue where we could spend the whole weekend with our friends and family was a big priority for us.

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Breathe. Enjoy the stress of it all because once it’s over it’s over!!

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

So many loved ones were there that we hadn’t seen in so long so we wanted to be able preserve their voices and memories of them from our day.

What did you like about working with me?

Gavin unfortunately couldn’t actually make it to our wedding but he was kind enough to connect us to a friend of his that handled the day-of shooting. So we really appreciated that! He made sure we were able to meet with himself and his friend for the big day and even drove to our house to drop off and pick up camcorders that we used for the wedding weekend. So even though he wasn’t there you can tell he put in a lot of effort to make our day special.
