Our story began with swipe on Hinge – 2 people who work in healthcare who understood the kind of compassion and commitment that comes with caring for others. We bonded over our shared love for the water, talking about boats, sunshine and the quiet peace you only find while watching an evening shore sunset.

How did you meet?

Hinge.

What was your favorite memory of your wedding day?

The recessional! It was the first moment we truly felt the weight and beauty of being married – stepping forward together with everyone cheering us on, surrounded by the ones we love, filled our hearts!

What were the main influences behind the style of your wedding, its location and your venue choice for your big day?

We chose a lakeside Adirondack venue because we wanted our guests to have more than wedding day, we wanted them to have a wedding experience. The cabins let our closest friends and family stay together,  laugh together, and truly enjoy the weekend.  The water and mountain views created an atmosphere that felt like a destination getaway without the stress of travel.

What would your top tips be for somebody planning their wedding?

Start with your priorities and decide what matters most. This will help guide your choices and budget!

What made you decide to hire a wedding videographer? Any tips for couples on the fence for a film?

We wanted to be able look back and relive the day! A videographer is able to preserve moments and emotions, including the energy of the entire day.

Gavin was amazing! His communication was clear and prompt,  he was prepared and professional, but most of all he was able to capture our vision while showcasing his genuine love for the craft.
