Anthony and I have been together over 8 years. We tried to get married last year but, you know COVID. So in January we finally had enough and we ran off to the Adirondacks and we eloped. Even though that day was perfect shared just between Anthony and I (and a photographer to get all the sappy moments) it wasn’t the same without our family and friends around. So here we are a few months later doing this whole thing again surrounded by all the people we love.

As fish we would say we are a “Bermuda chubb fish” and a “Bermuda pudding wife” fish and we found each other at a crossroads in both of our lives and decided to risk our comfort zones to have one another. Since we’ve built a beautiful life as one another’s best friends, hiking and noise-music making partners, parents to Crispy the rescue pup and co-homeowners in our upstate Callicoon Yellow-door farmhouse. Freya and Jack met in Chinese class at The University of Michigan in the fall of 2009. They would frequently study together and eat lunch together quickly becoming friends. In the fall of 2011 they started dating. After college, their individual pursuits took them all over the world and throughout U.S., but upstate New York brought them together just as the pandemic began. By December 2020 they were engaged and ready for their next adventure!
